i think i met my girlfriends soulamte?
Last holloween we almost married(her birthday too) We went to blockbuster to rent her favorite movie. The crow. There’s this dude that says his fav movie is the crow part 2. They have the same exact eyes. Freaked me out. He suggested the crow wicked prayer. It’s character holds up a scorpion(she’s a scorpio also about blue eyed indians( she is a blue eyed half cherokee) . Freaked me out. I don’t know what to think

Don’t over analyze that. Its probably just a coincidence because you can’t say that’s her soul mate because they like the same movie. I can understand where you are coming from because I read between the lines and don’t generally take things as coincidence but think about this they might be distant relatives.(thats why they have the same eyes)

Half the white teenagers in America say or have convinced themselves they’re "Half Cherokee" only because they think it’ll make them more exotic. She’s "lucky" if she’s 1:16th, and that’s only because an ancestor somewhere in the mid-west plains got hooked up with a Cherokee.

From Chronic to Critical: A Latino Family Confronts End-of-Life Decisions
By Karen Peterson-Iyer
Gabriela Rivera is an 80-year-old Puerto Rican immigrant, who lives alone in her rent-controlled apartment in New York City. She has lived in the United States for almost 40 years and speaks some English, albeit somewhat hesitantly. Her primary language is Spanish. Although she is now retired, for years Gabriela worked in a factory where she was exposed to a variety of industrial chemicals now considered toxic. Gabriela’s husband died four years ago of a massive heart attack. She has six adult children, three of whom now live out of state.
Gabriela is a devoted mother, calling her children as often as she can afford and even sending them homemade sweets. She raised her children through their teenage years in the same apartment in which she lives today. She is loath to leave it, although she now pays the rent only with great difficulty and substantial financial help from her children.
Gabriela has long suffered from high blood pressure, which she controls with medication. She also has type-2 diabetes. When she was originally diagnosed with diabetes, she met once with a nurse who advised her on diet, exercise, and weight control, but Gabriela has found it difficult to adapt her traditional tastes in food and her lifestyle to the recommendations the nurse offered. Subsequently, Gabriela’s doctor prescribed medication to help keep her diabetes under control. She tries to take her medication whenever she can remember and when she can afford it. Recently, tests have revealed that her kidney function has been declining.
Gabriela’s youngest son, Marcos, 49, lives near Gabriela. He speaks fluent Spanish and good (though heavily accented) English. He checks on his mother as frequently as he can. Marcos is a contract construction worker, married with three teenage children. His daughter, Cecilia, 15, spends a great deal of her time at her grandmother Gabriela’s apartment, doing homework and helping out with daily chores.
Marcos was also recently diagnosed with diabetes. He learned of his disease at a low-income medical clinic from a doctor who advised him to make major lifestyle changes in order to prevent the worsening of his disease. Marcos is a moderate-to-heavy drinker, but he refuses to cut back on his drinking, since he "can handle it," and it is an important part of his social life. He also has a great fear of needles, and he recoils at the idea of having regular blood tests. He reasons that he will just learn to live with his symptoms, which are still relatively mild.
Lately, Gabriela has had an increasingly persistent cough and often suffers from headaches, shortness of breath, and generally feeling ill. She has been ignoring these symptoms and writing them off in part to her persistent insomnia.
One afternoon, on her way home from work, Marcos’ wife Maria receives a panicked phone call from their daughter, who has shown up after school at Gabriela’s apartment only to find her grandmother feeling acutely dizzy and anxious, and having severe difficulty breathing. Maria hangs up and calls 911, calls her husband Marcos, and then races to meet the ambulance at the hospital.
Gabriela’s initial workup reveals a diagnosis of advanced Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), a lung condition, and bilateral pneumonia. In addition, blood tests show that her diabetes is out of control and that her kidneys are functioning at less than normal capacity. Once Gabriela has been stabilized with oxygen, the attending emergency department physician, Dr. Michael Johnson, speaks (in English) with Marcos, Maria, and Cecilia. Addressing all three of them equally, he informs them that, in addition to the advanced COPD and pneumonia, Gabriela also apparently is suffering from kidney failure, a complication of her diabetes. He would like to admit her to the hospital for observation and treatment of her pneumonia, and to call a nephrology consult regarding her declining kidney function. They agree and Gabriela is admitted to the ICU, where she is initiated on antibiotics for her pneumonia, and bronchodilators, corticosteroids, and supplementary oxygen for her breathing. Upon admission to the ICU, Gabriela’s attending physician there, Dr. Rachel Parker, also speaking English, attempts to discuss with Gabriela the option of a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) order, but the doctor soon assesses that Gabriela does not have capacity at this time to make such a decision. Dr. Parker then approaches Marcos on the matter, explaining that in patients such as Gabriela, the chance that resuscitation will restore a patient to her previous quality of life is vanishingly small. Marcos, however, vehemen

Me and my gf broke up after i asked to talk about us?
We’ve been together for 8 months, i asked her if we could talk because i wanted to express some things about how she made me feel because i never did and she needed to know. In a way i had the feeling i was going to breakup with her, but didnt want to. we broke up 4 weeks prior to this, her doing, but she literally could not give a reason besides her lack of effort in school, she simply came to my house and sat there while i tried to ask her about it and talk to myself basically. Weirdly, i got bored with trying to figure her out and we just layed on the bed, and gradually went back into spooning position funny enough. anyways, i kissed her and we did for a long time and eventually she got up and said she had to go. I kissed her and she kissed back (very cooperatively) but then asked me not to do that. i told her that i loved her and said goodbye. a real goodbye. i figured it was over, but had a feeling she would call back. I severed all contact except to say about a week later that i would still be friends, because i said that i couldnt handle that when we broke up but didnt really mean it. I wanted another chance really, i know she had other stresses that triggered it. she called me a week later and pleaded that i come back and that she could and would change things. 4 weeks later here i am, we broke up three days ago because i decided for the first time to really express the way i felt. When i came over i may have jumped into it too quickly because i started walking with her and within 5 min of talking i told her i wasnt sure if she even loved me anymore. she was almost stunned. i started to explain why i felt that way and she said i was acting wierd all weekend. i told her that i heard from friends that she was hammered at the bar on friday, i told her i was tired of wondering what she was doing when she went out and stayed at her friends (something she agreed to work on),and said she didnt seem to care how i felt and was never there for me. It all came out fast but the killer was that i told her i saw a pic of her and some dude that was very close. she stopped in her tracks and stared at me, furious. I said how else was i suppose to feel when i dont know anything. Then I asked her if she loved me and she (almost crying) half shrugged. I walked away (back to her house) and came back one more time after packing my stuff. I asked her if she loves me, no response except a tired look. i left. we have texted a few times, shes usually bitter. but can i fix this? what do you think is wrong with her or me? is it over? should i call, when and how soon after? Did she really mean she didnt love me or was she upset or shocked at what i said? It seems to me she has trouble accepting that she could be loved so she is rejecting my love. She is beautiful and smart, and sings beautifully but she can’t see it. I need help.

Good. You’ve broken up with her. Now, don’t call her back. If you call her back, or make contact with her, you show that she’s dominate, and that’s not sexy, or attractive at all. Pull yourself together and stop being a pushover, man. Find another girl and began a relationship. When she sees you’re having fun with another girl, she’ll quickly rethink of ways and try to gain interest in you again. Like I’ve said, don’t worry about her. Just stop being too emotional and nice.
Dude, look at all the questions you’ve asked. THEY’RE ALL ABOUT YOU & YOUR GF BREAKING UP!!! I’m sure you’ve heard the same advice about 5 or 6 times now but if you & her are ‘breaking up’ this much then why not make it permanent?!

Definitely leave her & don’t ask about it again, it’s just sad.

To eat it, or not to eat it, that is the question!

My roommate bought a 12lb frozen turkey and has it in an ice chest with a bag of ice since Monday outside on the back porch. There was no room in the fridge. He injected it last evening and it was still mostly frozen, except around the very surface of the turkey. It’s still in it’s bag.
There was no cold water put in the ice chest as I’ve seen people suggest. The outside temperatures have been ranging in the 50-60’s.

He is a very good cook, but over time we’ve discovered we have a very different idea of what is safe to eat and what is not, also how to clean up after preparing meats, etc. He eats food that has been in the fridge for…eons, and doesn’t get sick. I have had food poisoning twice in my life, and am very careful about guidelines.

I don’t want to hurt his feelings and not eat his prepared food, or have a big discussion about it, and when it’s fried I might be sooooo tempted to eat it! I really would love to indulge in some fried turkey. My son will be coming as well, so not sure if I should ‘warn’ him or not.

Any idea of what the temp in the ice chest would fluctuate to and from? Last night the bag of ice was still about half full of ice.

Thanks for any input. I am thankful to have people to ask!

I’m hosting thanksgiving tomorrow and need advice on cooking our turkey. It’s about 15 lbs. Earlier this evening I washed and prepped it, and I’m going to cook it with some diced onions, carrots, and celery in the pan.

The problem I’m running into…how long and at what temp??

My oven is electric.

I’ve never really cooked turkey before. My friend’s husband said to cook it about 4-5 hours at 335 degrees with foil over the top for the first hour, and then as it cooks bast it every now and then and every once in a while suck out some of the liquid from the pan and save it for gravy.

But any other tips?

Also…what is a way I can season it? I was thinking just some butter and some salt and pepper, but any other ideas?
Oh also…what should the internal temperature be when I know it’s done? I know the pop tabs always overcook it, so what should the internal temperature be?

I would recommend you put in in the microwave on "high" for 30 seconds, turn the bird over, and cook on "high" for another 30 seconds. You’re going to have to repeat this for about 40 hours.

Or you could deep fry it.

Have a good’n! Glad I could help!!
Buttface | Nov 25, 2009

Make sure you use some sage in there somewhere. Timing is about right. Internal temperature must be 165 degrees for at least 20 seconds. Thats a USDH standard.

I don’t have the answers to all of the questions at my fingertips, but if you cook it at such a high temperature, your turkey will be very dry. Meats roasted at a lower temperature tend to be moister. There should be directions on the internet for temperature, and it is by pound. You can also inject chicken or turkey broth inside the meat with a meat injector - you can pick one up at the store, it is very good that way.
It would Take less then 4-5 hours It would be 3 or 4 idk and it wouold ahve to be 390. Put some butter no onions, Onece you put it on a BIG plate Put some slad around it, It would look very pretty If its overs cooke cut the turkey in half Then if you see the burned or overcooked JUST cut it. And just like put it together and if they ask why is it like that just say its ur style for giving thanks. lol idkk. Anyways Put a whole spoon of butter on the top of the turkey. Make sure you don`t put a lot it wouldnt taste good. Season it with a litter drop or maybe 3 Don`t put as much. DON`T PUT SALT! Put pepper:) Ok so about the turkey how ur gonna cook it if you don`t think its ready buy one of those thing where you stick it in and it tells you how many tempetures are in it then It will tell you If it less the what ur sopose to put and how many temptures try cooking it more like less say it needs to be 500 And its 498 Cook about 4 more mintutes. If its sopose to be 500 and it 430 you prolbley need 65 minutes no matter what it is its 10x More then what ur adding Thats all i think i need to tell you so happy thanksgiving good luck and remeber all those tips next time do the same thing its helpful OKAYYY! Bye happy thanksgiving againand good luck remeber that GREAT HOST AND COOKER! SO BYEEEEEEEEEE
If you wanna cook the turkey over night you could put it in the oven at about 225 degrees and take it out in the morning .

                                                              ~OR~

Put the bird in the oven at about 350 - 400 degrees and take it out when its golden brown or take it at after like 2 hours .

Seasonings

~ Poultry Seasoning stuff some bell pepers and onions in it

OR

~ If you want it kind of citrusy season it with lemon peper and take a lemon and squeeze some lemon juice on it
Kourtnii F | Nov 25, 2009

A lower temp is better as it will ensure a juicier bird. If you don’t plan to stuff it, I would consider tucking some fresh sage under the breast skin. Also, you might want to baste it with some melted butter to ensure it stays moist. The butter will also give you a more golden crust. Thigh should be 180 degrees. Go to www.butterball.com for more cooking directions, if you like. They are pretty thorough.
glamorousvivica | Nov 25, 2009

If you have time brine turkey. Use 1 cup salt to gallon of water. Dissolve salt in water. Add your spices, garlic, pepper, thyme. Whatever you are comfortable with. I dissolve some honey in the brine as well. Brine should be in container large enough to hold turkey and brine without spilling and should also submerge turkey. 15 pounds is pretty small so a large stock pot might work. Refrigerate the turkey 4 to 8 hours. So do it tonight. Don’t work about not having enough seasonings. The salt, pepper, garlic would be enough by themselves.

Tomorrow put turkey in roasting pan elevated a bit above bottom of pan so that juices can drain from turkey. If you don’t have anything you can put carrots or celery under the bird to elevate it. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Use thermometer to verify temp. Put turkey in and cook for 1/2 hour until skin looks beautiful. I don’t need to tell you what that looks like you already know. At 1/2 hour mark turn down heat to 315/325 cover bird breast and legs with foil and roast until internal temperature is 155 - 157. Around 3 hours for 15 pounder.

This method assumes that you have thermometer to check temp. Do not baste, it is a waste of time and actually increases cooking time of bird. Try not to open oven door during cooking except when you put foil on bird after first 1/2 hour.

Don’t put butter you won’t need it and it darkens skin too much. You can get drippings from pan afterwards to don’t open oven door for that reason. Electric oven is perfect as temp stays even better than gas oven. Electric burners are not as good as gas in my opinion. If you put some carrots and celery under bird to elevate put onions inside bird while cooking.

Have fun. You can also brine turkey and then smoke it. Cook to same temps but you need to watch temperature of your smoking device to ensure is stays above 140 degrees. If you like sweet meat use 1/2 cup salt and 1/2 cup sugar instead of 1 cup salt in brine.
It must run in the Kennedy family.

Boys’ Night Out in Palm BeachBy Michelle Green
For Ted Kennedy, a Son and a Nephew, An Evening of Aimless Carousing Ends in An Accusation of Rape

In the long downward slope of Sen. Edward Kennedy’s private life and public career, what happened at the family’s Palm Beach, Fla., retreat last month may, in retrospect, mark the point at which sorry decline turned into free-fall. During what the Senator would later call "a traditional Easter weekend," a late-night gathering involving wine and women took an exceedingly ugly turn. In the early hours of March 30, as Good Friday became Holy Saturday, Teddy and his younger son, Patrick, 23, drank with a woman they had met at a bar, while another claimed she was raped on the grounds of the Kennedy estate. After the alleged victim went to the police, authorities moved so cautiously that cynics thought they detected a cover-up; no one on the local police force, it seemed, wanted to be the first to point the finger at America’s most prominent political family. For those who remembered previous Kennedy embarrassments, the Palm Beach story seemed all too familiar.

This time, though, suspicions were focused not on the Senator himself but on William Kennedy Smith, his 30-year-old nephew. A fourth-year medical student at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., Smith was identified on April 5 by a tight-lipped Palm Beach police department as the prime suspect in the reported assault.

When we criticize liberals we most attack their policies and ideologies, but when they attack us they invent disgusting lies like the one about Glenn Beck.

A liberal website created this story to illstrate how impossible it is to prove a negative.

They think it is the equivalent of Beck making charges that some people in the Obama administration are Communists or at least extreme socialists.

Of course they are ignoring the fact that Beck has repeatedly shown video of several Obama people like Van Jones, Mark Lloyd, and Anita Dunn making outrages statements that they refuse to explain.

When the White House Communications director Anita Dunn told a High School graduation class that Chairman Mao was one of two people she looked to most for Political Philosophy it deserves explanation.

Now if the left had a video of Glenn Beck saying something outrageous like he supports rape and murder then they might have a point.
Because the ones who are have taken a play from the Republican playbook.

- "Don’t actually read what I’m quoting." You know like Conservatives do with the health insurance bill, constitution and the bible.

There was a disclaimer which nobody read apparently. It sounded like a lie to me so I investigated it. (Like going to jail for no health insurance.)

Notice: This site is parody/satire. We assume Glenn Beck did not rape and murder a young girl in 1990, although we haven’t yet seen proof that he didn’t. But we think Glenn Beck definitely uses tactics like this to spread lies and misinformation.
Because the only way the left can be acceptable in their own eyes is by making it look like someone else is even worse.

"Look, see? They did it too, so we’re not so bad, are we?" seems to be their operative mindset.

If the Beck-Rape MYTH were true, they would be able to come up with an unaltered copy of a police incident report, and there would be enough investigation going on that Beck would never find a moment’s peace.

Injuries, trauma and death are irrelevant as long as someone from the left is responsible for them. Then they are non-issues or old news..

Slander has ALWAYS been that valuable to the left. It is the only way they can make any headway in politics. It is not a matter of what it has become. It is a matter of whence it has come, why, and by whose hand.

Liberals would elect Satan himself and declare him to be the most righteous person ever to exist if it were the only way to thumb their noses at the Conservatives who want to hang on to the roots of this country and keep it true to the God Who made it great.

Liberals don’t preach evolution because it is science. Even Sir Julian Huxley said that evolution came into vogue because "the existence of God interfered with our sexual mores."

Liberals don’t preach "values clarification" to help confused children. They preach it because they want to live as they please without ANYone, even their own children, calling them to task for it.

Liberals insist that God has to be kept out of the schools (which were founded under the Northwest Ordinance, and I challenge ANY liberal who has read it to claim the Founding Fathers did not intend for religion to be taught in school), not so they can preserve others’ freedom, but so they can be free to brainwash an entire generation of children into their chosen lifestyle and make it the norm, rather than a dirty exception (Read Humanist Manifesto, pub 1916).

Liberals do not insist on comparative religion and comparative morality to present a free market of ideas. They do it to defeat the time-tested and proven fact that good is good and evil is evil, no matter how you slice it. They want to think they are good by being so evil, because in their hegelian worldview, they are helping to bring about a more perfect synthesis.

Everyone get all up in arms against Obama as if during Bush’s presidency the same travestiesweren’t happening Bush Jr passed one of the single most unconstitutional laws since the founding of our once great country, what part of ”Congress shall pass no law infringing upon our constitutional rights” Pretty sure you homeboy did that one.

the line between the two parties is artificial to make us think and argue amongst one another and have a country divided just like people who loved bush hate obama and vice versa when they are just the puppets on the hands of the global elite bankers. This country and all others suffering the same injustice need to stand up and fight to win not only our country back but our world back! This country has not been ours since the the start of the 20th century.

Watch the movie Zeitgeist the part on economic’s and history of war the FED has been manipulating wars since WW1 for profit the people to protest the war if they only knew what our brave soldiers were truly dying for they would be twice as outraged I would love to see the tea baggers get angry about that instead of this brainwash socialism crap being fed to them. The Federal Reserve and FEMA (who can revoke our Constitution and substitute their own under marshall law to me there is no America left after the Patriot Act and with new powers given to the FEMA. Isn’t it scary that though the Federal Reserve and the Federal Emergency Management Agency have the words Federal as to give us the false sense that our government has any control over them once so ever when they certainly don’t have any standing under our Democratic structure. When Katrina happened it was a test to see how infuriated people would get with FEMA and there are just enough thinking none sheep left in this country to be outraged that it back fired. Have plenty of fear for fear mungerers will be back with some scheme of a missile launch from N. Korea or Iran to sweep our febble country with fear as to have us give up some more of our rights(similar to the Cuban Missile Crisis) only this time they will try and get it right down with the NWO…

Take this anger towards Obama and channel it to the right outlet the person whos hand he is sitting on he is just the puppet of the same puppeteer who has been controlling them all, yes Al Gore too does that make your conservative little hearts pitter patter. I will slander whoever you want to get you to see what I’m saying that your anger toward socialism and all that is right just direct it towards the right people.

It’s just an internet meme propogated not necessarily by liberals, but by funloving trolls and morons of all and no political slants, mocking the Fox News pundit style of making a point, wherein they imply slander, but frame it around a denial of said slander in order to not be accused of slander.

It was actually taken from a roast of Bob Saget where Gilbert Gottfried kept claiming that Bob Sagat raped and killed a girl in 1990.

In a similar example, before it was confirmed, Slate columnist Mickey Kaus said John Edwards obviously had to comment on the rumors he was having an affair; otherwise, it would be absolutely suspect. The liberal blogosphere responded by saying that Kaus needed to confirm the rumor that he blows goats; otherwise, it would be absolutely suspect.

Nothing to do with liberals or conservatives—just an internet joke mocking Glenn Beck and such.

I have been studying the affects of the lack of teaching new converts the major doctrines of the faith and letting them just get caught up in the emotion of praise and worship. Now understand that I know the importance of praise, thanksgiving, and worship. What about the importance of doctrine and teaching. I went through the word of God and looked at every area where doctrine, doctrines, teach and teaching was brought up and I found the following:
www.blueletterbible.org/search/translationResults.cfm?Criteria=doctrine&t=KJV
www.blueletterbible.org/search/translationResults.cfm?Criteria=doctrines&t=KJV&sf=5
www.blueletterbible.org/search/translationResults.cfm?Criteria=teach&t=KJV&sf=5
www.blueletterbible.org/search/translationResults.cfm?Criteria=teaching&t=KJV&sf=5
As you can see there is much emphasis on doctrine, doctrines, teach, and teaching. Shouldn’t our churches of the Lord Jesus Christ put more emphasis on these things? Don’t you think that our Lord and God would be pleased to see churches scattered throughout every nation, kindred, tongue and people growing in wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and truth of his word? Now understand again I am not forgetting the importance of Charity as declared in I Corinthians 13 for it explicitly shows that above all, and at the same time I do believe that God would be pleased to see a hunger and thirst after his word also. What say you

FINALLY! An intelligent question in R&S.

Yes, I completely agree with you! Churches should teach the bible to ground their new converts in solid doctrine. Were it not for my being taught the bible early in my walk with God, I would not be as solid and established in my beliefs as I am today. There is definitely a lack of this in churches today. I think possibly because of so much disagreement over doctrine, churches have become afraid not only to teach the scriptures, but to declare what they believe. In fact, I don’t even see pastors using a lot of scriptures when they preach anymore. How sad! Let us pray for a revival of this sort! God Bless You!

Well, my church (LDS) has two hours of lessons on doctrine and scripture every Sunday, with a specific class for new members. I’d say that’s pretty good.
I can’t click on your links, but YES, I think we should all do that.

In our Chruch, it is our ministry (my fiance’s and mine) to approach new believers, to keep in touch with them and make sure they know how to develop a relationship with the Lord. We have designed a "new-believer’s package" to give them which includes a Bible, several handy booklets and information about our Church.

We also have New believers’ classes. It is incredibly important to teach the right WORD
Red Head Angel | Nov 13, 2008

Different churches put emphasis on different things. Fundamentalist/charismatic churches emphasize emotion, spirit, worship. More mainstream Protestant churches would offer more teaching. If you convert to Catholicism you are required to attend a whole year of classes on doctrine, history, etc.
Yes! I completely agree. Praise and worship shouldn’t be the main focus of a church service - doctrine and teaching, exhortation and encouragement, those are the focus. Singing hymns together and praying together are important but we need more at church. And the cool thing is, when you study the Bible and learn about God that way, what you will learn will lead you to praise God and rejoice!

I think too many churches put too much emphasis on "worship", and it has become basically an emotional melee instead of true worship. It’s all about feeling something and attaining an emotional high, which believers are taught is really a spiritual high. Real worship focuses on God and not on the emotional state of the believer. Real worship doesn’t rely on being hypnotized by singing the same chorus 20 times with your eyes closed and your hands in the air. I find that people who attend these churches are very loving and kind but have a serious lack of understanding when it comes to Scripture and doctrine. They’re so caught up in the touchy-feeliness that they’ve neglected the Bible. It’s a shame.
The Word and Will of God is NOT to be imposed upon any one who is not in willing submission to Him… A new member of a congregation should have been made aware of the "rules" of the congregation before making any commitment. So the new "member" should be required to follow the rules…. but… as to study of The Word… that is for the individual and is between God and the individual… Any congregation of The True Church(The True Christian Faith) should have in-place, a policy and practice to offer any seeker, member or not, access to all the assistance they may need in their coming to know more of God…

but there should be no compelling from the congregation to dive into the deep end of study if the seeker is not ready… Let God lead the seeker… just be there to assist when called upon.
Yes I do think that allot of churches do not spend enough time teaching their new members. Discipleship is vital to the proper growth of every Believer.

Solid doctrine is important especially in this day and age when
ungodliness and deceit is running rampant and on a rampage
against scripture so that deceit is even seeping into the church and
hearts of believers. We must not turn from the truth at all,
to not compromise at all but trust and obtain God’s
promises - to hide the word in our hearts, to meditate upon it,
so we will not turn against what it says or even cut any corners
here and there - it is very important.
Good question.

In the Catholic Church it is kinda opposite. the ones born into it get the Catholic education as kids and then many don’t learn it as an adult and leave the Church, many times out of ignorance of the faith.

But Converts (Like Me) go through Classes for an hour or two per week for 9 months (Called RCIA class) because they want us to know what we are joining before we do join. We would get more converts if we just walked up to the front of the Church after Mass and had the Priest bless us and walla! Become Catholic. But that is not the way to have people educated in the faith.

I agree with you.

Peace and God Bless!
A person learns something new every time they study the Bible. I agree that new Christians need to be in a class room for new Christians only with at least two knowledgeable teachers to teach them. They should be in this class for at least a year.
